I am a California State LCSW (lic.# LCS26716) and a New York State LCSW (lic. # R055728-1). I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University, with a concentration in Mental Health. I have been practicing psychotherapy in an outpatient mental health capacity for over 15 years, most recently in my private practice in New York City, where I worked with individuals, couples and families with various mental health concerns and life stressors. I also facilitated two on-going psychotherapy groups.
I have received post-masters training from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health (adult psychotherapy), the Ackerman Institute For The Family (couple/family therapy) and the Eastern Group Psychotherapy Society (group therapy), where I completed post-graduate course work, conducted individual, couple, family and group therapy and received clinical supervision. I have worked with clients ranging in age from 3 to 80 and I enjoy such diversity in my practice.
I aim to create a safe and trusting environment, where exploration of the self and one’s relationships can prove enlightening and transformative. I love what I do and am passionate about the way in which I’ve seen my clients transform their lives. I believe this kind of passion and dedication shows in my work.
