Individual Therapy

I meet with many of my clients one-to-one. I aim to foster a relationship based on safety, trust and a mutual understanding of what you’d like to accomplish by coming to therapy. I review these goals with you on a regular basis to make sure that our work together is on track, and you are getting what you came for.


I generally recommend an initial session to determine whether or not we are a good “fit”.  This provides the opportunity for you to meet me, express your reasons for seeking therapy and for me to provide feedback and make recommendations about how to proceed.  If I am unable to meet your needs, I will offer a referral to another professional who may be a better fit for you.

I’m so glad I found you. You have this way of keeping me on a steady path, but so gently– both encouraging me and challenging me just the right amount. I have more hope than ever and feel so much more in control.
